Description

4,6-Diaminoresorcinol dihydrochloride is a white solid that has viscosity and hydrochloric acid as its structural formula. It is soluble in water and reacts with proton, monosodium salt to form a precipitate. 4,6-Diaminoresorcinol dihydrochloride reacts with phosphorus pentoxide to form the sulfonation product. The thermal expansion of this material is 2.8 x 10^-5/K and it has shown chemical stability at high temperatures up to 450°C.
