Product Information
- 2,4-Difluoro-(isothiocyanato)-benzene
2,4-Difluorophenyl isothiocyanate (2,4-DFI) is a novel fluorinated compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It interacts with DNA by alkylating the N-7 position of guanine and deaminating cytosine residues. 2,4-DFI also has an inhibitory effect on the enzyme teicoplanin and can be used as a lead compound for the development of new anticancer drugs.
