3,5-Dichlorophenyl isocyanate is a chemical compound that reacts with urea and alanine to form the monoclonal antibody for the treatment of diabetic patients. It has been shown to have mesomeric properties. 3,5-Dichlorophenyl isocyanate reacts with hydrochloric acid to form an enantiomer in the reaction solution. The lc-ms/ms method can be used to identify this enantiomer by measuring its nmr spectra and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. 3,5-Dichlorophenyl isocyanate also has low energy nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) properties that are well suited for magnetic particles. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used to observe these properties in vivo.
