Description:Diclosulam is a herbicide that belongs to the family of triazolopyrimidine and is used for weed control in agricultural crops. It inhibits the synthesis of certain amino acids, which are necessary for plant growth, by inhibiting the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS). Diclosulam has been shown to be effective against weeds in soybeans and cotton by reducing dry weight and increasing energy efficiency. This product also exhibits herbicidal activity against plants that have not been treated with other herbicides. Diclosulam is not active against most grasses or broad-leaved plants.
