Product Information
6,3'-Dihydroxydaidzein is a phenolic compound that has been shown to inhibit cytochrome P450 enzymes. 6,3'-Dihydroxydaidzein also contains two hydroxy groups and three dihydroxylated groups. It is metabolized by the enzyme dihydroxylase to form 3,6-dihydroxy-daidzein. This compound is found in food chemistry as an aliphatic phenolic compound that can be hydrolyzed by the enzyme trihydroxylase to form 3-hydroxy-6-methoxy-daidzein. The monohydroxylated and trihydroxylated forms of this compound are found as isoflavones in soybean sprouts and other plants. 6,3'-Dihydroxydaidzein is converted into conjugates with glucuronic acid or sulfate through phase II metabolism.br>br>
