Description:

2,6-Dimethyl-3-nitroaniline (DMAN) belongs to the class of tautomeric compounds. It has been studied experimentally and theoretically in solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance and molecular spectroscopy experiments. DMAN is a nitro compound that undergoes an adiabatic process when heated and is characterized by a quadrupole nucleus with resonances in the nmr spectrum. The experimental constants for this molecule have been calculated using quantum chemical calculations.
