Description:
Dichloroacetaldehyde dimethyl acetal is a phosphonium salt that can be used as a polymerization inhibitor. It reacts with methoxy, alkoxy radical and ring-opening to form the corresponding phosphonyl, chloromethyl, and methylene radicals respectively. Dichloroacetaldehyde dimethyl acetal is also an effective viscosity modifier and can be used in polyvinyl chloride production.
