Deacetamide linezolid azide is a molecule that binds to the regulatory domain of TNF-α, inhibiting its activation. This drug has been shown to have anticancer activity against cells that produce TNF-α. Deacetamide linezolid azide has been shown to be effective in the treatment of pancreatitis and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and Huntington's disease. Deacetamide linezolid azide is also used in the diagnosis of cancer by identifying the presence of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) induced hallmarks in cancer cells.
