• Description: 3,4-Dehydro cilostazol is a selective inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase III (PDEIII). It has been shown to be effective in cases of hepatic impairment, and its pharmacokinetic properties have been studied in human liver. 3,4-Dehydro cilostazol has shown to increase the concentration of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels in plasma and urine samples. 3,4-Dehydro cilostazol may cause drug interactions with other drugs that are substrates for PDEIII or that have an effect on the metabolism of endogenous substances.
