• Description: Milnacipran is an antidepressant drug that belongs to the group of selective serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors. Milnacipran is a chiral compound with two enantiomers, R-milnacipran and S-milnacipran. The S-enantiomer has been shown to have a higher affinity for the serotonin transporter than the R-enantiomer.
