Description

Desmethoxy yangonin is a natural compound that belongs to the group of compounds called yangonins. It has been shown to have inhibitory properties on ATP-binding cassette transporter, enzyme activities and energy metabolism. Desmethoxy yangonin was also found to inhibit atherosclerotic lesion and 5-ht concentrations in mice. The effect of desmethoxy yangonin on signal pathways has not yet been elucidated.
