Description:Digoxigenin monodigitoxoside is a molecule that has been shown to be an excellent substrate for the enzyme, human serum digoxin-conjugating ɣ-glucuronidase. It has been used in vitro as a substrate for rat liver microsomal ɣ-lactamase, and it can be detected in urine samples with high sensitivity. Digoxigenin monodigitoxoside is metabolized by oxidative reactions to form digoxin. The reaction solution can be heated at 60°C for 5 minutes to remove any hydrogen bond activity before use.
