2,3-Dihydropyrido[2,3-d][1,3]oxazol-2-one is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of b-raf inhibitors. It has shown to be effective in the treatment of cancer and ulceration by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosine kinase. 2,3-Dihydropyrido[2,3-d][1,3]oxazol-2-one has been found to have a high degree of solubility in organic solvents. This property makes it suitable for use as a linker molecule for the synthesis of other drugs. The reaction yield can be increased by adding triphosgene to the reaction mixture.
