It is used as a dopant in jet fuels to promote oxidative degradation and is converted into a reactive fuel (Kabana, 2011). To a lesser extent, 2,4-dimethylpyrrole has shown antifungal properties and has been used as an active agent against pathogens causing head blight and root rot in some cereals (Sefer, 2017).
