2,2'-Dithiobisbenzoic acid (DTBA) is a chemical compound that has been used as a cross-linking agent for proteins and nucleic acids. DTBA is an aromatic hydrocarbon that can be synthesized from the reaction of sodium carbonate and hydrogen chloride.
