Product Information
Name:Dibenzyl azodicarboxylate
Synonyms:
- DBADAzodicarboxylic acid dibenzyl ester
Brand:Biosynth
Description:Dibenzyl azodicarboxylate is a ligand that binds to the sodium taurocholate cotransporting polypeptide. This compound has been used for the diagnosis of p2-gated ion channels and group IIIA sodium channel mutations. Dibenzyl azodicarboxylate has also been shown to have receptor binding properties and can be used as a probe in polymerase chain reactions. The compound also inhibits galleria mellonella, which is an insect model organism, by inhibiting linear regression analysis. Dibenzyl azodicarboxylate reacts with halides to form trifluoroacetic acid, which is a useful reagent for the synthesis of organic compounds.
