Diethyl cromoglycate is a drug that is used to treat asthma and allergies. It is available in both an oral and injectable form. Diethyl cromoglycate has been shown to be effective for the treatment of cavity, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurodegenerative diseases. This drug works as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the release of histamine from mast cells. Diethyl cromoglycate also has immunomodulatory effects by inhibiting the production of cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-1β. Diethyl cromoglycate also inhibits the activation of neutrophils, which are white blood cells that play a role in inflammation.
