Description:Diisopropylammonium tetrazolide or tetrazole diisopropylamine is used to synthesize nucleoside 3'-CE phosphoramidites, which are building blocks in the chemical synthesis of novel oligonucleotides. Tetrazole diisopropylamine catalyses the reaction of 2-cyanoethyl tetraisopropylphosphorodiamidite with a nucleophile, usually the 3’-OH of a suitably protected nucleoside. This approach has been used to efficiently make modified cytosine oligonucleotides.
