The radioactivity level of N,N-Dimethyl-histidine can be measured using an electron spin resonance spectrometer. N,N-Dimethyl-histidine also has oxidizing properties that have been demonstrated in the oxidation of l-(3-[14C]methylaminopropyl)-3-[14C]methacryloxymethyl)benzene.
