Product Information
- N-p-Anisoyldiphenylamine
- 4-methoxy-N,N-diphenylbenzamide
N,N-Diphenyl-4-methoxybenzamide (DPMB) is a sulfone that has been used as an electron sensitizer in the chemical amplification step of photoresist systems. It is soluble in most organic solvents and reacts with electron-rich molecules to form carbonyl groups. The sensitivity of DPMB can be enhanced by modification of its amino group, which can be done using ionizing radiation or by deprotonation with triethylamine. The efficiency of DPMB as an electron sensitiser is dependent on the number of carbonyl groups present and the formation constant for such groups.
