Description:

Diisobutyl Phosphite is a phosphite ester. It is mainly used as a reagent in organic synthesis. Diisobutyl Phosphite has been shown to inhibit the reaction of ethanedioic acid with sodium succinate in a solution at room temperature, yielding a molecule with two hydrogen bonds. This inhibition is due to its ability to disrupt the hydrogen bonding between the two reactants. The solid catalyst can be synthesized from this reaction solution by heating it at high temperature for an extended period of time.
