Description:
2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7-Dodecafluoro-1,8-octanediol is a phosphite that can be used as a surface stabilizer in the monolayer deposition. The phosphite groups are hydrophobic and form a monolayer on the surface of the substrate. This molecule also has an affinity for metals such as stannous octoate and silicon. 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6 ,6 7 7-Dodecafluoro-1 8-octanediol can be used to stabilize calcium carbonate and magnesium. It is also an extender that interacts with molybdenum and tungsten.
