Description:

4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl ether is a diphenyl ether that is used as a substrate film to promote the deposition of phosphorus pentoxide. It has a thermal expansion coefficient that is lower than most other polymers and can be used in devices with high-temperature applications. 4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl ether also has an excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid and can be used as an electrode material for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. 4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl ether is soluble in fatty acids and has transport properties that are similar to those of benzene. The molecule contains a cyclohexane ring with two hydroxyl groups on each side. These hydroxyl groups react with light from a lamp to produce light emission, which can be useful for displays such as those found on cell phones or watches.
