2,5-Dimethylterephthalic Acid is a chemical compound with the formula CH3CO2C6H4CO2H. It is an important industrial chemical that is used in the production of polyester and other chemicals. The compound exists in two enantiomers, one with a melting point of 136°C and the other at 138°C.
