Description:
2,6-Dichlorobenzonitrile is a crystalline cellulose that inhibits the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes. It has been shown to inhibit the activities of xet and p450 in vitro and in vivo. 2,6-Dichlorobenzonitrile has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of plants by inhibiting cell division. This compound is used as a herbicide and insecticide. 2,6-Dichlorobenzonitrile has been shown to be toxic in animal studies.
