3',6'-Dihydroxy-2',4',5'-trimethoxychalcone is a polyphenol that has been shown to have antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory effects. It also has the ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and may be useful in treating autoimmune diseases. 3',6'-Dihydroxy-2',4',5'-trimethoxychalcone has been shown to inhibit epidermal growth factor, which plays an important role in the development of skin cancers by promoting the proliferation of epidermal cells. It can also reduce lipid peroxide levels and inhibit the activity of heat shock protein, which is involved in cell survival during periods of stress.
