Description

3',4'-Dimethoxy-7-hydroxyisoflavone is a natural compound that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It has been found to inhibit the production of cytokines such as IL-10, which is an anti-inflammatory cytokine. 3',4'-Dimethoxy-7-hydroxyisoflavone also inhibits HIV infection by blocking the fusion of HIV with the host cell membrane. In a pharmacokinetics study, 3',4'-Dimethoxy-7-hydroxyisoflavone was found to be absorbed quickly and had high bioavailability in humans. This compound also showed a long half life and low toxicity in rats.
