Description:
2,5-Di-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole is a fluorescent dye that can be used to measure the solubilization of biological samples. This assay is performed by adding the dye to the sample and measuring the amount of light emitted. The quench curve technique can be used to determine if 2,5-Di-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole is capable of quenching fluorescence. This compound has been shown to have biological activity in liquid scintillation assays.
