Description:
7,4'-Dimethoxyflavone (DMF) is a dietary flavonoid that has shown to be cytotoxic against cancer cells. DMF also inhibits the growth of human liver cells in vivo and in vitro by increasing the rate of apoptosis through activation of caspases. DMF is structurally related to apigenin and verbascoside, which are compounds that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
