Description:

Demethylretin is a soybean extract that has been shown to inhibit the production of melanin and to promote the production of epidermal growth factor. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect on rat liver microsomes, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cyclooxygenase. Demethylretin also inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential in k562 cells, which is associated with various autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. This compound has been shown to have beneficial effects on disease activity by inducing autophagy in K562 cells.
