Product Information
- 7,8,3',4'-Tetrahydroxyisoflavone
8,3'-Dihydroxydaidzein is a metabolite of the daidzein isoflavone. It has been shown to be present in urine samples and the human liver. 8,3'-Dihydroxydaidzein is found in high concentrations in vitro incubations of rat liver microsomes. This compound has been shown to be monohydroxylated and dihydroxylated by catechol-o-methyltransferase in humans. The monohydroxylated form is more efficient at binding to human estrogen receptors.
