Description:
3,5-Dichloro-4-methoxybenzoic acid is a metabolite of 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid and hydroxybenzoic acid that has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties similar to those of the parent compounds. 3,5-Dichloro-4-methoxybenzoic acid has been shown to inhibit cell growth in vitro by methylating DNA and interacting with amines and growth regulators. This compound may be used for treatment of cancer cells that are resistant to chemotherapy.
