Dipsacoside B is extracted from the plant Lonicera japonica and is present in the fruit, bark, leaves, and flowers of this plant. The major component of the extract is diosphenol A, which accounts for 75% of its content. Dipsacoside B has been shown to possess anti-cancer activity by inducing apoptosis in leukemia cancer cells. It also inhibits tumor invasion and metastasis in vitro and in vivo.
