• Description: Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) is a polymer that is used in the manufacture of membranes, electrodes, and electrolytes. PVDF-HFP has been shown to be an excellent candidate for use as an electrolyte in fuel cells due to its high proton conductivity, which results from the presence of fluorine and hydrogen. PVDF-HFP also has a phase transition temperature of about 300°C.
