Description

Epigallocatechin gallate, also known as EGCG, is a flavonoid that provides antioxidant properties to plants. It also inhibits telomerase, and enzyme that elongates chromosomes, and DNA methyltransferase, that transfers a methyl group to cytosine in the DNA chain.
