It is an analog of amitriptyline, an antidepressant and a tricyclic compound. N-[1-[2-(4-Ethyl-5-Oxotetrazol-1-Yl)Ethyl]-4-Phenylpiperidin-4-Yl]-N-(2-Fluorophenyl)Propanamide has been shown to increase the concentration of plasma drug levels by increasing transporter gene expression in muscle tissue. This drug also has clinical pharmacology and thermal expansion properties.
