1-Ethyl-1H-pyrazole is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of epoxides. It is synthesized by the reaction of ethylene glycol with hydrazine, which has an optimal reaction temperature at around 60 °C. The pyrazole ring is formed when the hydroxyl group on the propylene carbonate reacts with the amino group on 1-ethyl-1H-pyrazole. 1-Ethyl-1H-pyrazole has been shown to have growth factor activity and can be used as a replacement for insulin in diabetic patients. The growth factor activity of 1-ethyl-1H-pyrazole may be due to its ability to bind to factor receptors, which are found on cells, and activate them. The use of organic solvents such as ethanol solutions or liquid propylene carbonate, as well as varying reaction times, can lead to different rates of formation of 1-ethyl-1H pyraz
