Description:
3-Ethyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole is a fungicide belonging to the group of triazoles. It is used as an active ingredient in fungicides that are used to control phytopathogenic fungi. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi by binding to the methylsulfonate moiety on the enzyme cysteine synthase, which is required for protein synthesis. 3-Ethyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole has also been found to be effective against enantiomorphs and metal salt.
