Product Information

Name:
Epoxybergamottin
Description:

Epoxybergamottin is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to induce skin tumor formation in experimental animals and humans. Epoxybergamottin is metabolized by the cytochrome P450 enzyme system, which may lead to drug interactions with other drugs metabolized by this system. Chemical diversity of epoxybergamottin includes epoxides, natural compounds and chemical structures. Epoxybergamottin has been shown to be a substrate for P-glycoprotein (P-gp) and may inhibit the transport of other drugs across cell membranes in the liver.
