Eleutheroside C is a levulinate that can be extracted from the roots of Eleutherococcus senticosus. It has been shown to have chemical structures similar to those found in crystalline cellulose, which suggests it may have a similar structure. The turbidimetric method was used to show that the detergent compositions had no effect on the structural integrity of Eleutheroside C. The structural analysis revealed that this compound contains a hydroxyl group and an inulin glycol ether group. Hydrochloric acid and hydroxyl group were used to hydrolyze this compound into glycol ethers, which are soluble in water. This process also resulted in the formation of fatty acids, which are insoluble in water. The results of urine samples showed that there was an increase in free fatty acids after the consumption of Eleutheroside C, indicating that it is hydrolyzed by humans and excreted as free fatty acids.END>
