2,2’-Ethylenedianiline is a biphosphate that has been shown to have low-energy reactions with halides. The hydroxy group on the 2,2’-ethylenedianiline molecule can be used as a catalyst for the formation of acylation reaction products. 2,2’-Ethylenedianiline is not toxic to humans and has been shown to have anticancer properties in mice and cervical cancer cells. This chemical may be useful for the synthesis of new anticancer drugs.
