Description

Eribulin mesylate is a drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It is a synthetic taxane that binds to and prevents the function of topoisomerase I, which is essential for DNA replication, transcription, and cell division. Eribulin mesylate has been shown to be effective in treating breast cancer and platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.
