Product Information

Name:
Ethyl 2-amino-8-(perfluoroethyl)-3H-benzo[b]azepine-4-carboxylate
Description:

Ethyl 2-amino-8-(perfluoroethyl)-3H-benzo[b]azepine-4-carboxylate (EFAB) is a molecule that can be used as a toll-like receptor modulator. EFAB has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and hyperproliferative diseases. EFAB binds to the toll-like receptor (TLR) and inhibits downstream signaling pathways, including cytokine production, chemotaxis, and proliferation. EFAB also induces apoptosis in bladder cancer cells through TLR2 signaling pathways. EFAB has also been shown to have immunomodulatory effects, which may be due to its ability to bind to Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7).
