Description:3-Furoic acid is a furanic acid that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds. It can be synthesized by the Friedel-Crafts reaction of benzene and malonic acid with a magnesium salt in liquid chromatography. 3-Furoic acid can be analyzed by NMR spectroscopy, which will show the presence of amines and proton signals.
