Description:
2-fluoro-4-methylbenzonitrile is a diazepine that has shown to have the ability to induce cell death in the prostate cancer cell line DU145. 2-Fluoro-4-methylbenzonitrile was found to inhibit the activity of chloride and aluminium channels, which are responsible for regulating cell volume. This drug also has antagonistic effects against heterocycles, such as piperidine, and 6-membered rings.
