Description

4-Formylphenylboronic acid is a boron-containing organic compound that is used in the production of dopamine. It is produced by the reaction of phenylboronic acid with formaldehyde, which generates an ester bond between the two molecules. 4-Formylphenylboronic acid has been shown to have good stability and high purity, as well as excellent transport properties and a low cost. 4-Formylphenylboronic acid has been used in the production of fluorescence probes for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This product has also been found to be a substrate for proteases, such as trypsin, chymotrypsin, and elastase.
