Formaldehyde-2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone (FDNH) is a chemical compound that inhibits the production of galacturonic acid. It is used as an analytical method to measure the concentration of galacturonic acid in biological samples. FDNH reacts with galacturonic acid to form a diazonium salt and a hydrazone derivative.
