Description:

Fmoc-Phe-OH is an amino acid derivative that has been used as a fluorescence probe for the detection of cervical cancer. Fmoc-Phe-OH binds to the DNA of human cells, and its fluorescence properties change when it is exposed to hydroxyl groups in blood serum. In addition, Fmoc-Phe-OH can be synthesized by solid phase synthesis and this process is monitored by silver ions. The fluorescence properties of Fmoc-Phe-OH are sensitive to changes in morphology and phase transition temperature.
