Description:FlorhydralR is a reactive, cationic surfactant that is used in detergent compositions. FlorhydralR is used as a conditioning agent for fabrics and as a particle in detergent compositions. The molecule has two functional groups, the formyl group and the diphenyl ether. These functional groups are responsible for the reaction with human serum and enzymatic methods, respectively. FlorhydralR also reacts with an acid catalyst to produce malonic acid, which is responsible for the endpoints of the molecule.
