In addition, Fmoc-L-proline pentafluorophenyl ester inhibits the formation of new cancer cells by inducing cell death and inhibiting proliferation. This drug also has anti-inflammatory properties and is able to bind with calmodulin, which may be related to its ability to inhibit breast cancer cell growth.
